About Us

Puerto Rican Union of Mutual Aid Established July 7, 1937

 PRUMA (Puerto Rican Union of Mutual Aid.) is a non profit social club located in Union City, serving the San Francisco Bay Area Puerto Rican community and the community at large. It was established in 1937 mostly by Puerto Ricans originally from Hawaii who relocated to the SF Bay Area. PRUMA is a place to gather a celebrate the Puerto Rican heritage, culture, music and food.
